Bottle-fed dental unit water lines (DUWLs) are easy to treat and monitor for EPA compliance, but what about lines still directly connected to municipal water? Independent lines like those for scalers often go unchecked and untreated—until now!
The Parkell PureClarity Scaler Waterline Purification System transforms any source water into EPA-compliant water (<500 CFU/ml) for up to 6 months*. Utilizing an innovative biopharmaceutical-grade microporous membrane, PureClarity filters remove harmful bacteria, pathogens, and contaminants through a chemical-free process. Plus, PureClarity targets biofilm formation close to the point of use, minimizing the downstream length of waterline subject to biofilm buildup beyond the filter.
PureClarity provides an easy one-two punch solution for those units still directly connected to municipal water. Every PureClarity filter comes with a Parkell Shock Syringe for preloading shock solutions via the Luer-lock connection installed on most magnetostrictive and piezo scaler waterlines (shock solution not included). After shock treatment, protect by affixing the PureClarity filter in line using the same Luer-lock quick-connect fittings. Installation requires no opening of junction boxes or accessing internal bottle system components. Handpiece and A-W syringe tubing can also be easily modified to Luer-lock.
System includes one 20mL Shock Syringe and one filter.
